6" diameter bowl, dark crystalline.
One note about the unpredictable nature of crystalline gazes. The color palette may vary widely from one firing to another, even with the same glaze recipe. With dark crystalline, there are usually, but not always, different amounts of blue, umber, and white. The reddish-brown may dominate the piece, and the white lattice may occur in small areas or spread over the entire piece. The glaze works differently on plates and platters than it does on vertical surfaces like vases. The colors, proportions, placement, crystal sizes, and crystal patterns are decided by the glaze in the kiln and cannot be controlled. As with any crystalline glaze, you cannot expect consistency or matching pieces (sorry)!
