Sachiko Beck
"I was born in Hagi and raised in Tokyo, Japan. My life in America began as a graduate student at Michigan State University in 1979. I started teaching graphic design at the International Fine Arts College, Miami and then at Framingham State University, Massachusetts. After twenty-five years of teaching, I enjoy traveling with my husband and often visit my family in Japan. I focus on my artwork whenever I can find the time."
