Ashburnham Arts & Culture Day 2022

The Ashburnham Cultural Alliance (ACA) is pleased to announce the second Ashburnham Arts & Culture Day, Saturday December 3, 2022! Events will take place throughout the day at Creative Connections Gift Shop & Gallery, Stevens Memorial Library, New Dawn Arts Center, and the Frederick Historical Piano Center. Come out and be part of the creative community!

Stevens Memorial Library – Gallery talk with Artist Kathy Murray, 11:30AM-12:00PM, second floor Community Room. See Kathy's new installation, 'The Landscape Within', chat with the artist, and enjoy a beverage from the library café!

Join us in the galleries from 12PM to 3PM for the opening of artist Richard Fishman’s show, “Changing Environments”. Meet the artist and enjoy wine and refreshments in the galleries. Ashburnham Wine & Spirits will be hosting an informal wine tasting during this event, and the gift shop will be open for browsing from 10AM to 6PM.

Meet the curators and founders of the Study Center Collection, Pat and Michael Frederick! “The purpose of the Frederick Piano Collection is to give musicians and music lovers a chance to hear works by major piano composers, played on pianos such as those the composers knew, and for which their music was conceived.” A skilled virtuoso, Pat will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate some of the remarkable qualities of the pianos in this priceless collection.
