About the artist:
Lyn Slade is a nationally recognized needle felting artist. She was an early promoter of needle felting as a fine art medium, leading the way for many to follow. As an author and teacher, she enjoys sharing her skills with students of all levels. In her work space she keeps things fresh by combining traditional art methods with needle felting, including pastels, acrylics, printing techniques and eco-friendly textile dyes. She is currently developing a series of art pieces combining vintage textiles, traditional sewing and quilting techniques and needle felting.
