How to Make Cyanotype Prints

This workshop is a hands-on introduction to creating Cyanotypes, a light-sensitive printing
process that produces cobalt blue prints. After a demonstration of the basic process using
artificial UV light, we will explore the use of different materials to create images: botanicals,
reflective and semi-opaque objects, photographic negatives, etc. All participants will have the
opportunity to make their own prints. There will also be some explanation of toning and staining
techniques. This workshop is flexible and intended to be fun!
